About Dr. Katsura Suzuki
Family Office Advisor, Investor and Author
My Story
With over 35 years of experience, I have had a fulfilling career in private banking and providing family office advisory services to high-net-worth individuals globally.
I started my career with Ernst & Young, where I served as the Head of the Japan Desk in Zurich for 20 years. I supported Japanese multinational companies, individual company owners, and their managers as well as caring for the needs of the families involved. The work was varied and challenging.
Alongside my work, I pursued my Doctorate Degree in Business Administration, which proved to be a valuable asset to my career.
Over the years, I have held leadership positions in several companies, including 7 Board-level roles. I offered and still do family office services, asset protection advisory services, and tax advisory services in Switzerland and Japan, together with industry experts.
As a founding partner of FAMOS, a family office services company in Switzerland, we offer mentorship to partner firms on their journey to growth. We are also helping investors with investments in technology, healthcare, and innovation worldwide.
I also offer lectures on asset management, providing basic knowledge, and individual consultations from a neutral perspective. I believe that my experience and knowledge can be valuable to anyone seeking to grow their business or personal finances.
Besides, I am in volunteer activities at Care Team Japan, a self-help organization for Japanese people in Switzerland.
Although I was raised in a family with traditional Japanese values, I have spent most of my career in a western business environment and I endeavor to bridge these two worlds into one. The wish to share my unique experience and knowledge has motivated me to become an author. In my recently published books entitled “The Birdfish” (2021) and “Invisible Gift” (2022), I merge both worlds with one message, and I hope to convey this likewise to children and adults.
As a means to heal my heart, I also create paintings under the pen name “Rie.” This is one of the “ZEN” methods I recommend to everyone.

The only proof of success is true happiness and that comes from peace and love as your goals. There is no greater power and gift than the ability to give to others and impact the future positively.
